Janelle Monáe Has Been Chosen in ANTEBELLUM, via First Teaser

A new thriller is en route, per the first teaser, from the producers of both Get Out and Us, which pins an author against terrifying odds in, Antebellum.

The story centers on a successful author, Veronica Henley, played by Janelle Monáe, who finds herself trapped in a horrifying reality and must uncover the mind-bending mystery before it’s too late.

The film comes from the groundbreaking directorial duo of Gerard Bush and Christoper Renz and also stars, Marque Richardson II, Eric Lange, Jack Huston, Kiersey Clemons, Tongayi Chirisa, Gabourey Sidibe, Robert Aramayo, Lily Cowles and Jena Malone.

Antebellum hits theaters on April 24, 2020.
