The upcoming sequel installs an brand new story in the timeline of Diana (Gal Gadot), the Princess of Themyscira, as we fast forward to the 1980s to find her having reunited with Trevor (Chris Pine) in facing two all-new foes in Max Lord (Pedro Pascal) and Barbara Minerva (Kristen Wiig), aka the Cheetah.

As you can see from the above picture, Wonder Woman is rocking her Golden Eagle armor, which first-appeared in the Kingdom Come graphic novel from Mark Waid and Alex Ross. If you are familiar with the book, it will be interesting to see why the armor is being incorporated into the film.
