Paramount Drops THE SPONGEBOB MOVIE Trailer Ahead of the Big Game

This upcoming Memorial Day weekend is going to get goofy, per the first official trailer for, The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run.

The film will center on SpongeBob SquarePants (Tom Kenny) and his friend Patrick Star (Bill Fagerbakke), along with all the fan-favorite characters from Bikini Bottom in a major motion-picture event! The story picks up with SpongeBob having lost his pet snail, Gary, and he and Patrick must embark on an epic adventure to The Lost City of Atlantic City to find the beloved pet. As the two navigate the delights and dangers of the mission, one thing is certain, the power of friendship.

The voice cast includes, but not limited to: Rodger Bumpass (Squidward), Clancy Brown (Mr. Krabs), Lori Alan (Pearl), Carolyn Lawrence (Sandy Cheeks), Mr. Lawrence (Plankton), Mary Jo Catlett (Mrs. Puff), as well as cameos from both Keanu Reeves and Awkwafina!

The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge On The Run is currently slated for a theatrical release on May 22, 2020.
