Does the MCU need a new Wolverine?
February 7, 2024Give me a minute to explain! Before you all go Wolvie Berserker style on me, please. Now I’m not saying Hugh Jackman wasn’t born to play Logan.
But will the new Wolverine ever hit the heights of the Sony X-Men franchise…I think not. And I don’t think they should try to either. The first time around it was like catching lighting in a bottle with Logan, not only did the character make it in 6/11 films, but he also headlined three of his own.
Not to mention the countless cartoon and animated appearances!
With Deadpool & Wolverine coming out this July there’s lots of speculation and rumors on what might be in store for Logan, and who should be playing him.
Moving forward with Wolverine as a character, I think he cant be a beacon of the next X-Men. Logan now just needs to be a good supporting character.
