Amazon Announces THE EXPANSE Season 5 Ahead of Season 4 Premiere

Season 4 of The Expanse isn’t set to debut at Amazon until the winter, but the show has already been renewed for another season on Prime Video.

If you are not familiar with this show, it originally debuted on SyFy, but was tossed aside in May, 2018, just to be scooped up by Amazon two weeks later. The show takes place hundreds of years in the future and tells the tale of human expansion across the universe, but one that is mired in controversy. The main characters slowly discover a vast conspiracy that threatens the colonies beset by Earth on the asteroid belt.

The show stars Dominique Tipper, Wes Chatham, Cas Anvar and Steven Strait, as the crew of the Rocinante, a corvette-class frigate ship.

You can stream Seasons 1-3 now on Prime Video. If you haven’t started it yet, you’ll definitely want to catch up in anticipation of S4E1.
