The 2019 Streamy Awards is returning to YouTube this holiday season.

The ninth annual Streamys, which celebrates all things online video, will stream live, for the second-year-in-a-row, on YouTube, from the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

This year’s ceremony is adding three international accolades across the Streamys Brand Awards and Streamys Purpose Awards, pushing the total to 50 awards, which will recognize creators in Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America and Middle East. All awards are voted on by an independent judging body. Fans have the ability to vote in two categories as well.

Last year’s show saw just shy of 7-million views, which was up 73% from the last time it streamed on YouTube, in 2016. Some highlights include having crowned Shane Dawson as Creator of the Year, Ninja as Live Streamer of the Year and, as the Storyteller of the Year, Gabbie Hanna.

Submissions for award categories are due by August 23. You can catch The Streamys ceremony on December 13. Click HERE for a complete list of 2018 nominees and winners.
