All-Star Ensemble Cast Revealed for Hulu Animated Series, M.O.D.O.K.

The upcoming animated series adaptation of M.O.D.O.K. has announced its core cast, per an announcement Marvel TV and Hulu, headlined by Patton Oswalt, who will voice the titular character.

The series will center on the supervillain Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing (aka M.O.D.O.K.), who has long-pursued a dream of conquering the Earth. Years after numerous setbacks against the planet’s mightiest heroes, M.O.D.O.K. having run his evil organization, Advanced Idea Mechanics (aka A.I.M.) into the ground, has been ousted as leader. Not only that, his marriage and family life are crumbling and he’s now up against his most-challenging confrontation yet, a midlife crisis!

Rounding out the cast are: Aimee Garcia, who plays Jodie, M.O.D.O.K.‘s wife, Melissa Fumero, as his daughter, Melissa, Ben Schwartz, as Lou, his son, Wendi McLendon-Covey (Monica Rappiccini, an A.I.M. mad scientist), Beck Bennett (Austin van der Sleet, a GRUMBL tech rep), Jon Daly (Super Adaptoid, M.O.D.O.K.‘s snarky android) and, as Gary (aka Beekeeper), Sam Richardson, who plays his loyal sidekick.

M.O.D.O.K., who was initially known as George Tarleton, was subjected to hideous experiments, ones which mutated his body into a massive-headed being. He possesses superhuman intelligence and extraordinary psionic powers, though throughout the process, was driven mad. The character was created by the legendary tandem of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. He first appeared in a cameo role in Tales of Suspense #93 (1967), followed by a full appearance in Tales of Suspense #94.
