Hulu Orders Comedy Series Starring Steve Martin and Martin Short

Showrunner Dan Fogelman has tabbed two former Saturday Night Live alumni in Steve Martin and Martin Short to star in a new comedy series at Hulu, per an announcement by 20th Century Fox.

The serialized, straight-to-order, still-untitled series is based on an idea by Martin, and tells the story of three strangers who share an obsession with true crime and suddenly find themselves wrapped up in one. Martin and Short play two of the strangers, as it will be set in New York City.

Fogelman, who is best known for serving as writer and producer on This Is Us also wrote 2018 breakout, Life Itself. He is currently writing an upcoming project, Honeymoon with Harry.

Martin and Short are also currently touring together and have a 2018 special on Netflix, Steve Martin & Martin Short: An Evening You Will Forget For the Rest of Your Life.
