Family is Unconditional in First Trailer for Limited Series, DEFENDING JACOB

A gripping, character-driven thriller is bound for Apple TV+ and a father must choose between his profession and his son in, Defending Jacob.

The limited series centers on a small town (and the Barber family) in Massachusetts, one rocked by a shocking crime. The father and husband, who is a district attorney, is forced to now choose between his sworn duty to uphold the law and the love for his son.

The series is based on the 2012 New York Times best-selling novel, Defending Jacob, from author William Landay. It stars: Chris Evans, as Andy Barber, Michelle Dockery (Julie Barber) and Jaeden Martell (Jacob Barber), alongside Cherry Jones, Pablo Schreiber, Sakina Jaffrey, Betty Gabriel and J.K. Simmons.

Defending Jacob is currently slated to debut on Apple TV+ on April 24, 2020.
