Netflix Announces Addition of New Family Animated Series, SHARKDOG

A new partnership between Netflix and ViacomCBS International Studios will see a new family-oriented animated series, Sharkdog.

The series will center on 10-year-old Max and his best friend, Sharkdog, a half-shark, half-dog pet that is all-appetite! Unaware of his own strength (and health), Sharkdog often leaves a trail of chaos behind him. However, at the end of the day, he’s Max’s best friend and vice-versa.

The character of Sharkdog was originally created by Jacinth Tan. Each of the 20 episodes will span over seven minutes.

The all-new animated series, Sharkdog, will be available on the streaming giant’s platform, worldwide, in 2021.
