Both Seth Rogen and Sarah Silverman will be teaming up to lend their voices to an adult-themed animated comedy series called, Santa Inc., at HBO Max.

The eight-episode pilot season, all 30-minutes long, will be scripted by creator and showrunner, Alexandra Rushfield. It will tell the story of Candy Smalls (Silverman), who is the highest-ranking female elf at the North Pole and Santa Claus’ successor, voiced by Rogen. When he opts instead to work at Amazon, she is enlisted to fulfill her ultimate dream of becoming the first-ever female Santa in history.

All three will also serve as executive producers on the project as well.

Silverman is now stranger to voice acting, having done numerous characters on the long-running Bob’s Burgers animated series. Next up, she will star in the film, Marry Me, a film about a scorned pop star, who opts to marry a man in her audience instead of her fiancé.

Rogen continues to adapt comic books into both live-action and animated adaptations, while serving as producer, including the forthcoming Image Comics/Skybound Entertainment‘s Invincible show. His next live-action acting gig will be as a worker who is preserved in a pickle factory for 100 years and wakes up in modern-day Brooklyn in, An American Pickle.
