Another live-action adaptation of a book is bound for Netflix, which will be spearheaded by Jason Bateman and star Millie Bobby Brown in, The Girls I’ve Been.

The film will be based on the novel by Tess Sharpe, The Girls I’ve Been, in which Nora, a con artist, uses her skills in both impersonation and persuasion to guide herself, her girlfriend and ex-boyfriend out of a bank hostage situation.

Brown is gearing up to reprise her role as Eleven in the fourth season of Stranger Things, while she also recently wrapped on Godzilla vs. Kong as well. She will next appear in another project at the streaming service as the younger sister to Sherlock Holmes in, Enola Holmes.

Bateman is set to be included among an all-star studded cast in the reboot of Clue, based on the popular board game. He will also begin work later this year on the final season of the streaming service’s hit show, Ozark. He also produced the forthcoming television series, A Teacher, based on a forbidden (and illegal) relationship between a teacher and her student.
