The latest project from Warner Bros. gives you (and your remote) the power of life and death! Batman: Death in the Family will allow fans to retell the classic story by creators, Jim Starlin and Jim Aparo.

This isn’t the first time the company has put the power in the hands of its readers, as DC Comics previously allowed fans to call in and decide the fate of the ‘Boy Wonder’, Robin. We all know how that ended. However, now is your chance to rewrite history!

In this collection of anthology shorts, which is directed, written and produced by Brandon Vietti, you will use you’re Blu-Ray remote to make decisions which will determine the direction of the story. Your choices could also include a few unforeseen consequences as well in affecting the 2010 animated feature, Batman: Under the Red Hood.

“We’ve paid homage to the 1988 interactive experience of DC’s A Death in the Family comics release by giving fans a unique opportunity to craft their own story through a branching tool that can lead in multiple directions,” said Vietti. “The viewer gets to choose these characters’ paths and each choice paves an alternate future for all of the characters and, ultimately, the story.”

Fans won’t have to wait long to dictate the future of the ‘Batverse’ as Batman: Death in the Family will be available everywhere on October 13, 2020.
