It’s good to be the queen, as is apparent with the 2020 that is shaping up for the Vagrant Queen, who not only has a live-action adaptation coming to SyFy, but is also returning with a new miniseries, Vagrant Queen: A Planet Called Doom, as well.

The series, as a whole, follows a former queen, Elida Al-Feyr, who is driven from her throne and forced to wander the galaxy, all while evading the revolutionary forces that seek to see her dead. However, when news hits her that her long-lost mother is still alive, she sets to return to her kingdom in full-rescue mode.

The upcoming five-issue limited series, courtesy of the creative duo behind the character, Magdalene Visaggio and Jason Smith, will pick up where the previous series ended as Elida’s happiness is interrupted by a new mysterious threat.

Vagrant Queen: A Planet Called Doom #1 (of 5) goes on sale in January of 2020.
