Dark Horse and IDW Partner on STRANGER THINGS, DND Crossover Series
July 10, 2020Publishers Dark Horse Comics and IDW Publishing are teaming up on a huge crossover event featuring Dungeons & Dragons and the kids who love to play it, specifically, the stars of Stranger Things!
The upcoming series, Stranger Things and Dungeons & Dragons, from creators Jim Zub and Jody Houser, will serve as a prequel to the fan-favorite Netflix series, as well as a love letter to the Hawkins, Ind., crew as they take on the adventures in which only D&D can provide. That’s right, long before Mike, Lucas, Dustin and Will took on the Demogorgon or met Eleven, they were jamming to the popular RPG, which defined their childhood. The squad will build stories and power through seemingly-perilous quests in finding courage to not only claim victory in the game, but that over bullies as well.
Stranger Things: Science Camp #1 (of 4) will kick things off in going on sale on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2020, while Stranger Things and Dungeons & Dragons #1 (of 4) is arriving on shelves in November. Stay tuned for an exact release date, as well as a covers announcement.
