Yet another character from the widely-popular animated series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, is now bound for The Mandalorian in Bo-Katan Kryze, who will be portrayed by Katee Sackhoff.

That makes four, count them, four Star Wars fan-favorite characters, including three from The Clone Wars series, that are coming to the show. Sackhoff now joins Rosario Dawson, who will play Ahsoka Tano, and Temuera Morrison, who will now serve as Boba Fett, having previously played his son, Jango Fett, in the prequel trilogy.

Both Sackhoff and Morrison, who is rumored to also bring-to-life his character of Cap. Rex, voice their respective characters on the animated series and will now be playing the live-action versions of them as well.

Per the series, Bo-Katan’s darksaber now lies in the hands of Moff Gideon, so it will be interesting to see the dynamic between the characters and how he came into possession of it. This begs the question, with so many of the animated series’ characters making their way to the series, is Darth Maul going to make an appearance as well? We’ll find out soon enough!

Sackhoff also has an upcoming project called, The Last Transport, in which the world is ending, two seats remain on the shuttle to flee the planet, but four people show up.

The Mandalorian returns in the latter part of 2020, exclusively on Disney+.
