May 22, 2020 Off By Haven Huth

Fans received devilishly-delightful news from FX that their favorite Staten Island vampire coven of What We Do in the Shadows has garnered a third season order from the network.

The latest season has introduced new characters and creatures, such as ghosts, witch doctors, zombies and trolls, but also not to mention, the return of Nick Kroll, as Simon the Devious, and even a special appearance by Mark Hamill! In fact, this show could be around for some time yet! Viewership continues to rise for what is being deemed the best show on television, having earned over 3.2 million views this past season, as well as a spike in viewership, north of 25%, since the first season.

In case you haven’t seen it yet, the series is based on Taika Waititi‘s 2014 film, What We Do in the Shadows. The show centers on the day-to-day exploits of a trio of vampires, Nandor ‘The Relentless’ (Kayvan Novak) and married couple, Nadja (Natasia Demetriou) and Laszlo (Matt Berry). The coven also has two roommates, the annoying energy vampire, Colin Robinson, played by Mark Proksch), and Nandor’s clumsy and doting familiar, Guillermo (Harvey Guillén).

You can catch new episodes of What We Do in the Shadows every Wednesday at 10pm (ET) on FX or stream it exclusively the next day on Hulu.
