Two The Big Bang Theory alumni, aka the Coopers, aka ‘Shamy’, Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik, are reuniting, this time at FOX, for a new series, based on the BBC‘s Miranda, called, Carla.

In Miranda, a socially-awkward girl is always gets into embarrassing situations. She works in a joke shop with her best friend, Stevie, and is constantly hounded by her mother, especially when she’s around her crush, Gary.

The upcoming American reimagining will star Bialik, as Carla, who is a 39-year-old woman struggling every day versus society and her overbearing mother. The theme, ‘You can’t have everything you want and still be happy’ is key, which is why she spent the money her parents set aside for her wedding to open a Cat Café.

The series, Carla, is set to debut at some point in 2020 on FOX.
