Production company studio, 42, in conjunction with Will Dunn and Charlie Morrison, are bringing-to-life a 1972 fantasy novel as a feature film in, The Halloween Tree.

The film will be based on the novel, The Halloween Tree, from author Ray Bradbury. It follows Tom and his friends from school as they investigate strange happenings in their small town on Halloween. When their friend, Pip, is kidnapped and transported to the Land of the Dead by a demon, the group enlists an entity named, Moundshroud, to go in and save him, while embarking on a time-and-space traveling adventure across many different countries, encountering ghosts and monsters.

The project was also adapted in 1993 as an animated television feature, of which Bradbury both wrote and starred in.
