A Basketball Coach Looks to Step Out of the Shadow of His Star Father in, HOOPS

A new adult animated series, bound for Netflix, from creator Ben Hoffman and starring Jake Johnson, will follow a coach who is taking life by the ball in, Hoops.

The forthcoming animated series centers on a hot-headed, foul-mouthed high school head basketball coach, Ben Hopkins (Johnson), who thinks turning around his bad team will land him a job in the NBA.

The 10-episode pilot season of Hoops launches exclusively on Netflix on Aug. 21, 2020.
